WHAT IS BLUME?
Blume is the honest dating app that is solving the biggest problem in the online dating industry; the uncertainty about who’s actually behind the profile you are matching. On Blume you connect via profiles, but match via selfies. This makes you certain about people’s true identity, thus creating a safe and trusted environment where people can be themselves. You will never have to worry about who you are truly chatting with, or meeting up with in real life. You match with real people, like real life.
Blume’s main screen shows you people nearby. If two people ‘Like’ each other, they connect. Both parties now have to send a selfie to each other where they can place a text on it, which works as a great ice-breaker.
Once both parties have sent a selfie, it’s time to reveal each other. Now you can see the other person’s selfie for 7 seconds where you have to make your choice. If the ‘Like’ is mutual, you match!
The text placed on the selfies are now automatically transferred into the chat to get the conversation going straight away. Over 65% of people who match initiate a conversation.
